Facilities
Koerscafé Gasselte
In the spring of 2021 we have opened Koerscafé Gasselte. Here you can get not only a nice cup of coffee and a great lunch, but also information and tips about the area.
Pumptrack
You will find our Pump Track on the sports and playing field. The pump track is accessible with inline skates, (BMX) bikes, skateboards and stunt scooters. Please always wear a helmet on the pump track.
Kids Boulderhal
Come in and play, climb and clamber in the Kids Boulderhal. Children up to 11 years old can climb along the walls without ropes. You always land softly because the entire floor is a thick fall mat.
Mountain bike rental
From spring 2021 you will find our mountain bike rental next to the Koerscafé. Reserve your mountain bike at least 1 day in advance and go off on an adventure through the forests of Drenthe.
Sports and playing field
Next to the pool you will find our new sports and playing field where guests of all ages can get moving. Here you will find a football field, volleyball field, table tennis table, zip line, pump track and playground equipment.
Pets welcome
Go on vacation with your pet! Pets are very welcome with us. In the Koerscafé we are happy to give tips about beautiful walking routes and areas where your dogs can run without a leash.
Camping shop
Forget something? No worries! In our shop you will find the most forgotten camping groceries. Postcards, stamps and souvenirs are also available.
Tennis court
You can hit a ball for free on our tennis court. Rackets and balls can be borrowed at the Koerscafé.
Swimming lake
At 300 meters from the campsite you will find the recreation lakes 't Nije Hemelriek and Het Gasselterveld.
Pool
Take a dip in our outdoor pool. The pool is 1.40 meters deep. Next to the pool is a sunbathing lawn and paddling pool.
Waterpark
If you stay at the campsite for at least 5 nights, you can go to DX Adventurepark aqua park for free. Check the conditions at the reception.
Animation team
The recreation team provides a packed activities program at Easter, Ascension, Whitsunday and during holidays.
Fonzy, Lente en Sem
Fonzy is a stubborn, cheeky fox who, together with friends Lente and Sem, camps at the campsite all summer.
Bread service
Every morning we bake fresh bread at the reception and bring them to your pitch. Place your order in our Camping App.
Snack bar
The snack bar is opened daily during the holidays and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday outside the holidays.
Bike rental
The bike rental is opened daily during the holidays from 9.30 am to 10.30 am. The bikes can be rented based on reservation.
WIFI
Our WIFI is an open network. In this wooded area, the reception varies from place to place, but there is always good connection in the Koerscafé and on the terrace in front of the snack bar.
Sup and canoe rental
Explore the Gasselterveld by sup or canoe! Reservations can be made at the reception.
