The Lente van Drenthe can be found in the adventurous forests of Gasselte. The campsite is located on the edge of the Gieten - Borger forestry, on the Hondsrug in Drenthe. Via the forest path next to the reception you can walk to the swimming lakes 't Nije Hemelriek and Gasselterveld in just 300 meters. Imagine yourself abroad on the white beach and clear blue water of the Gasselterveld. In 2018, the Gasselterveld was declared the most beautiful swimming lake in Drenthe and we can only confirm that. The wooded area is a paradise for four-legged friends. Dogs are also allowed to spend their holiday with us at the Lente van Drenthe. Several loose run areas can be found within walking distance. The swimming lakes Gasselterveld and 't Nije Hemelriek are off limits to dogs, but a fifteen minute walk from the campsite is a swimming lake where dogs can take a dip.
